Welcome to the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce!
By joining the Chamber, you’ve taken a giant leap forward in your business development. And here’s the good news: The more you get involved, the greater the returns.
As you know, our mandate is to “provide the leadership necessary to enhance the economic prosperity and quality of life” right here in the National Capital Region. (That’s just a fancy way to say we help people just like you find even more success. Because when you are successful, we all benefit.)
Now that you’ve come aboard, I encourage you to take advantage of the great opportunities we offer to help grow your business. Here are just a few ideas:
-
Attend our events—including our incredibly popular Eggs ’n Icons breakfast meetings—and grow your network.
-
Sponsor an activity—such as our golf tournament—and increase your exposure.
-
Advertise in our publications—such as our quarterly magazine, The Voice—and build your customer base.
-
Join a committee—and have some real impact on the business community.
The benefits don’t stop there. If you are a small business, don’t forget to check out our group insurance—available even if you work alone. And you can start saving money right now by using the services of other members, many of whom offer special discounts to Chamber members—see the members’ directory online.
And while there, have a look at other programs we’ve developed for you:
- Global Experience @ Work—we introduce employers to dependable, motivated and highly trained foreign workers.
- International Program—Take your company global or become a channel partner for someone trying to break into the international market.
While you are having fun, meeting new contacts and enjoying the many benefits of membership, we will continue to work hard to bring your ideas, concerns and suggestions to municipal, provincial and federal politicians, and others whose work affects our businesses. We are 'The Voice of Business' in Ottawa.
Again, thanks for joining the Chamber. Your support is appreciated and your suggestions are always welcome. Never hesitate to call or drop us an email.
